This Carewell tool, (“the tool”), is situated on a mirror site for www.carewelluk.org, located on www.carewelladviceboard.org (which together with its related domains is called “this site”). This site is owned and maintained by The British United Provident Association Limited (“Bupa”). The tool and its accompanying materials have been compiled by and are jointly owned by Bupa and the charity Carers UK (together known as “The Carewell Advice Board”) through their joint collaborative project for carers based in the UK.
This disclaimer applies to the entire Carewell Advice Board content and this site. Please read this disclaimer before using the tool. Using the tool indicates that you accept the terms of this disclaimer and if you do not accept the terms, do not use the tool. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Carewell Advice Board accepts no liability whatsoever for any use made of this tool or of this site and its content.

Parents are advised not to allow their children to browse this site and it should not be accessed by anyone under the age of 18.

The Carewell Advice Board is entitled to use any information submitted for any purpose without restriction or compensation to the person who has sent the submission. They must accept responsibility for its accuracy, appropriateness and legality. The user agrees not to transmit to The Carewell Advice Board or to post to this site any materials that are offensive, defamatory, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate (including without limitation any virus or other malware) and to obtain the owner’s permission to publish if it is not material that is original to them. Please note that all submissions to this site will be reviewed by The Carewell Advice Board before publishing and they reserve the right to remove any material that does not meet these legal requirements.

The confidentiality of your information is of paramount concern to The Carewell Advice Board. To this end, they strive to comply with the UK Data Protection Act 1988 and relevant Medical Confidentiality Guidelines. Information submitted to The Carewell Advice Board over this tool is normally unprotected until it reaches us. Users are requested not to send confidential details or credit card numbers, for example, by email, unless specifically requested by The Carewell Advice Board. Personal information about any user wanting to submit content to this site will be obtained by The Carewell Advice Board in order to ascertain sufficient detail to ensure that the user is a bona fide individual looking to contribute in an honest and legal manner on this site. 7. Donations
Bupa will donate £1 to Carers UK for every submission published on The Carewell Notice Board for the period 18 June to 16 July 2012. Donations will be capped at £1000. The donations will be transferred from The Carewell Advice Board to Carers UK on 17 July 2012.
8. Copyright
The Carewell Advice Board or their affiliates and licensors are the owners of the copyright and database rights in the tool, except where specifically stated otherwise, including content data, design, graphics, text, images, software and underlying source codes. The Carewell Advice Board or their affiliates and licensors are the owners of all trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos and devices appearing on the tool, whether registered or unregistered, except where specifically stated otherwise. Users must not copy any portion of the content without the prior written permission of The Carewell Advice Board.
9. Liability Restrictions
The Carewell Advice Board is not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind; lost or unavailable network connections; incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions. Under no circumstances will The Carewell Advice Board or its suppliers be liable for any loss caused or injury suffered from any use made or reliance upon any results from the materials on this tool.
